What Do We Do?

We offer a range of blooms from spring bulbs, through summer annuals and perennials, into Fall, and then some winter greens, wreaths and arrangements. Flowers are combined with fresh greenery and wild elements to make varied bouquets each week, with a focus on natural, seasonal, vintage cottage style.

Our choice of flowers will tend towards the traditional, heirloom, old fashioned varieties, in the best possible way. These vintage favourites tend to have subtleties and complexities that modern commercial varieties do not and help maintain diversity in the field by attracting pollinators and other wildlife.  We also use a wide range of greenery and grasses to help capture that ‘just gathered’ feeling.

We are not certified organic, but we do not use chemical treatments on our plants, or on the earth and strive to use sustainable methods. Seeds and plants are sourced from Canadian companies, as far as possible, and bunches are wrapped in brown paper, tied with string (who doesn’t like brown paper packages wrapped up with string?!) to minimise use of plastic and waste creation.

We offer fresh bunched flowers for sale from our farmstand on Friday afternoons and Saturdays during growing season. You can either drive on by and see what we have, or reserve your mixed bunch for collection to be sure you don’t miss out. Check our website for times and to reserve your bunch. Christmas wreaths and arrangements will be available, check back for times and dates in the Journal section, or on our social pages.

In the longer term, we also plan to offer on-site workshops, additional gift items, and are always open to ideas and suggestions for new items or collaborations.
